Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a security measure that requires two forms of identification. After you enter your password to login to cPanel, you must enter a security code. An application on your smartphone supplies this code. Without your smartphone, you cannot log in.

This feature blocks any attempt to brute force into your account. And even if a threat actor has access to your password through some malicious means, they cannot login to cPanel without that security code from your smartphone

Please find the Two-Factor Authentication option in Security panel in your cPanel. For step by step instructions on how to enable Two-Factor Authentication for your account, you may refer to cPanel documentation.
